Originally from San Diego, CA., Silvia moved to Portland in September 2013 after graduating from The Gary and Jerri-Ann Jacobs High Tech High School. She graduated in June 2018 with a degree in Conflict Resolution and a minor in photography.

Silvia has been photographing for 10 years. She was inspired at a young age by her father's film photography. She was the official photographer for her robotics team in high school, The Holy Cows, through 2012-2013. In addition, she worked as the photo-editor at Portland State's newspaper, the Portland State Vanguard from 2016-2018. In the fall of 2018, she worked for Dorian Studios, taking school photos. From 2019 to 2020, she was working as a teaching assistant for Art4Life, a children’s after school program. Currently she lives in Los Angeles, California, pursing her interest in film and production.
